Duane Curtis Saltsman, 57, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was born Oct. 8, 1963, in Elkins, a son of Wanda McCauley Saltsman, of Elkins, and the late Al Saltsman.
Duane was a heavy equipment operator and was good working with his hands. Duane was an especially good grandfather and would truly do anything for anyone.
In addition to his mother, Duane is survived by his wife, Bonnie Marie Luzader Saltsman; one son, Johnny Saltsman and wife Sarah, of Morgantown; one daughter, Crystal Saltsman, of Morgantown; grandchildren, Killian, Jayden, Teirra, Destiny, Adrian and Whitney; sisters, Deavonda Sharp and husband Alan, Ronda Galford and husband Jeff, Debbie Elbony and husband Greg and Linda Kimmick and husband Kyle; and stepchildren, Judy, Daniel, Jeffery, Katti and Christine.
In addition to his father, Duane was preceded in death by one son, Richard Saltsman.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from noon on Sunday, March 28 until the 3 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services following the services and, due to COVID-19 guidelines, masks must be worn and social distancing practices must be observed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
