Hrysanthi “Christine” Demanelis, 85, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Evergreen Assisted Living. She was born in Sopiki, Albania, Dec. 1, 1935, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lavaris.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, Friday, March 26, from 5-8 p.m. A Trisagion Service will be at 7:30 p.m. with Father David Shaw to conclude the night’s visitation. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 447 Spruce St., Morgantown. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Cemetery, Morgantown.
