Tammy Lynn Rose Morton, age 57, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Mon Health Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Tammy was born Nov. 3, 1963, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Frank Rose and Louise Springer Rose.
Tammy was a homemaker and a good Christian woman. She loved her family, her family loved her, and she will be deeply missed.
Tammy is survived by her husband Willis E. Morton II, one daughter, Amber Holder, of Morgantown, one son Jeremy Rose, of Morgantown, one sister, Tracy Rose, and grandchildren, Caden and Aurora Rose. Tammy is also survived by Barb Beatty, of Rivesville, who she considered a second mother and dear friend, and also Sheila Wix, of Fairmont, who she thought of as a sister.
In addition to parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Connie and Pete Springer.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, from 2-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Bishop Bill Page officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
Due to COVID 19 guidelines, masks are required, social distancing practiced and limit your time in the funeral home to 15 minutes.
