Carl Keith Pase, 68, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Carl was born Jan. 7, 1953, in Morgantown, the son of Virgil Oscar and Helen Logan Pase.
Carl retired from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office with nearly 30 years as a deputy sheriff.
During his retirement, he and his wife worked for AAA Bail Bonds. He loved riding his motorcycle and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Carl was a family man who was very easygoing.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Tammy Morris Pase; daughter, Jennifer Sullivan, of Versailles, Ohio; daughter Stacy Pase and son, Virgil Pase, both of Morgantown; 10 grandchildren; nieces, Amanda White and Haleigh Straight and his nephew Konor Straight, all of Morgantown. Also, surviving are his best friends, Mike, Anita and Ashely Harvey, of Core.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Helen Pase; sisters, Linda Pase, Lenora Everett, one brother, Neil Pase; and his father-in-law, Harold Morris.
Honoring Carl’s wishes, cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A private gathering of remembrance will be celebrated at a later date.
