Nancy Susan (Gross) Wilt, 80, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at United Hospital Center. She was born on April 24, 1940, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Roy Miford and Lillian Virginia Wilson Gross.
Nancy graduated from Morgantown High School and attended Fairmont State College. She worked for Visiting Homemakers in Morgantown and later for Village Square in Clarksburg as a secretary. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping and cooking. She would play Bingo as often as she could. Nancy loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by two children, Mark (Septembre) Wilt, of Salem, and Jeffery (Michelle) Wilt, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and their father, Darrell Wayne Wilt, of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Mark Bradley “Brad” Wilt, of Salem, Courtney P. Wilt, of Buckhannon, and Ava B. Wilt, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; several nieces and nephews, Paul and Jodi Fellenger, Tony and Mike Camac, Rhonda and Adam Grisiv, Sandy and Ken Wolfe, David and Jennifer Pavelko, Dawn Joyce and Dr. Robert Beto, Sharon and Bobby Doyle, Karen and Mike Mills, Brian and Lynn Gross and Susan and Eddie Randal; two brothers-in-law, Donald “Don” and Mildred “Sis” Pavelko and Ronald and Carolyn Kurilko; one ex-sister-in-law, Diana Kesling; and very close friends, Robert “Bob” Corley and Darla Leach.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by one brother, David R. Gross; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John “Bud” Wilt and Patti and Ronald Wilt and Violet.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, from 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. Private interment will be at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown. Davis Funeral Home is honored to assist the Wilt family at this time.
