Jamie Louise Cairney Thomas, 35, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021.
Jamie was born July 26, 1985, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Fred Cairney and Debra Kay (Funk) Cairney Summers who survive her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by six children, James Downey and Christopher, Alexis, Edward, Lilliana and Skyla Thomas; her sister, Kimberly Hager; her maternal grandmother, Sarah “Wezzie” Gabbert; her boyfriend, Landon Herndon; and her stepfather, Gary Swinburn.
In addition to her father, Jamie was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Gabbert; paternal grandparents, Fred Cairney Sr. and Bob and Barbara Mayhew; and two aunts, Gina Gabbert and Julie Cairney.
Family and friends may gather at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover/Morgantown from 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, until noon, at which time a brief service will be held.
Guests must wear a face covering, practice social distancing and keep your visitation with the family to 15 minutes or less.
