Jennifer Ellen Allison, 37, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly due to a vehicular accident on Jan. 18, 2021. Born on Sept. 11, 1983, in Morgantown, she lived the majority of her life in the greater Morgantown area.
Jennifer had a passion for nature and animals; she used that drive to earn a dual bachelor’s degree in animal science and agricultural business from Oklahoma State University which, she applied in her career as a veterinary technician at Hillcrest Veterinary Clinic.
She is survived by her beloved children: daughter, Aubrey Allison Grooms, son, Carter Kendall Grooms and ex-husband, Korey Grooms. Also surviving are parents, Nancy B. Allison and Alvan D. Allison; siblings, Adam K. Allison (Melanie Allison) and Lauren A. Huertas (Juan Huertas); and niece and nephew, Hayden and Brecken Allison, all of whom will dearly miss her joyful presence and infectious personality.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joan (Nuss) and Ken Brown; paternal grandparents, Coradel (Jacobs) and Alvan Allison; and cherished dog, Jubal.
Jennifer was a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church. Due to the current health crisis there will be no public funeral or burial. A private family service was held.
