A Time to Be Born

Frankie Elizabeth Royce Wade, 95, was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Delbert and Elizabeth Kitzmiller Royce.

A Time to Live

During her adolescent years, she resided in Riverside where she attended school and rode with her father on his milk delivery route. She also enjoyed spending time with her childhood friends Delma and Alma.

As an adult she worked at Hill’s Dept. Store for many years until she retired. She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

A Time to Love

On Sept. 30, 1945 she married the love of her life, Robert C. Wade Sr. They were blessed to spend 37 loving years together and raise five children, Frances, Bobby, Barbara, Ruth Ann and Donna, who were the absolute loves of her life.

A Time to Die

On Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, Frankie gained her angel wings after a long blessed life of 95 years.

A Time to Remember

Frankie is survived by her children, Frances Wade, Robert C. Wade Jr. and wife Jane Ann, Ruth Ann Roberts and husband Gene and Donna Johnson and husband T.J. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as family and friends.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Wade Sr., on May 28, 1982, and daughter, Barbara Sue Wade Rosenberger, on Jan. 10, 2012.
Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Friday Jan. 22, 2021 and again from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Barry Adkins officiating. Frankie will be laid to rest beside her husband at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

All visitors and guests will be asked to properly wear a face covering, socially distance and limit their time to no more than 15 minutes.
