Our Dad, Jack F. Hinerman, 87, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on Jan. 7, 2021. He was born on Nov. 19, 1933, in Woodlands (Marshall County).
Dad was a decorated, airborne combat veteran in the Korean War and a member of the Washington Lands United Methodist Church.
Dad was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Orval and Ellen Hinerman; his older siblings, Wilda Conner, Buzz Hinerman, Norma Lee Willis, Lonnie Hinerman; and infant sister, Margarite Hinerman, plus many friends who went before him. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruth Ann “Ruthie” (Utter) Hinerman, and his children: Jackie (Ken) Cunningham, Bud (Karen) Hinerman, Bill (Andrea) Hinerman and Becky Hinerman. He was a loving Pap to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dad is also survived by his younger brother, Robert D. (Cheryl) Hinerman, of Blacksville, and many nieces and nephews whom Dad loved immeasurably.
