Pamela DeCarlo

Pamela Sherlene DeCarlo, 64, passed unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021. She was born Nov. 2, 1956, in Waynesburg, Pa., daughter to James W. Allum Sr. and Lucille McCartney Allum.

Pam worked as a CNA for more than 30 years. She was a born-again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ and would share her testimony with many. She would pray for family, friends and complete strangers. Pamela would practice JOY: Jesus, Others and Yourself.

She didn’t mince words; her straight talk was always done in love. She will be sadly missed.

Pam is survived by her only daughter, Tracy Atwood and boyfriend Chris, of Sligo, Pa.; her grandchildren, Eric and fiancée Kayla, of Pittsburgh, Dana Renee, of Uniontown, Pa., Danielle, of Fairchance, Pa., Matthew, of Uniontown, Pa., and Jessica, of home; great-grandson, Greyson Alexander; and sisters, Susie Franks (Albert), of Bobtown, Pa., Ellen Lentz (Troy), of Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James DeCarlo; sisters, Loretta Schartiger and Betty Jean King; and brothers, Butch, David and Mark Allum.

Cremation was arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. She will be interred beside her husband, James, at the Cedar Grove Cemetery with a graveside service to be announced at a later date.
