Linda Sue Bennett Ice, 63, of Grafton, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at home. She was born on Dec. 31, 1957, in Morgantown, the daughter of Maxine Bennett and the late Roy F. Bennett Sr.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially camping and fishing on the river in Romney.
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her two sons, Ben Ice and wife Michelle, of Bruceton Mills, Rocky Ice and wife Ashley, of Grafton; daughter, Rachael Ice and fiancé, Shane Benson, of Bruceton Mills; three grandsons, Troy Viola, Rocky Ice II and Blane Benson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Ice; father, Roy F. Bennett Sr.; brother, Douglas Bennett; and sister, Joyce Bennett.
The family would like to thank the Hospice personnel for the care and support given to Linda and a special thanks to Ashley Ice.
In keeping with Linda’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
