A man is charged with two DUI-related offenses after a crash near Peirpont Landing Wednesday morning.
Brandon M. Feck, 36, of Kingwood, is charged with DUI and DUI with misdemeanor bodily injury by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a criminal complaint, Deputy T. Hedrick responded to a vehicle crash involving two vehicles that occurred about midnight.
Feck’s vehicle was on fire when he arrived.
The other driver was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash, the complaint said. Additional details about his condition were not available Wednesday afternoon.
The type of vehicles involved was not available in time for this report.
Feck was staggering while talking to Hedrick and his breath smelled of alcohol, the complaint said. He said he had been drinking and showed impairment on all the field sobriety tests.
After being arrested, Feck blew a .199 BAC at the sheriff’s office, according to the complaint.
Feck is free on $3,500 bond.
The crash was reported to 911 at 12:01 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office.
