Thomas McClellan “Tom” Osborne, 72, of Morgantown, passed away on Dec. 26, 2020, surrounded by his family. Tom was born on Jan. 13, 1948, to the late Gilbert and Dora Smith Osborne.
Tom was a proud father, grandfather and husband. His family meant the world to him. Tom worked as a foreman at CONSOL for
43 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his free time, he would love to take walks with his grandkids. For the past two years, he enjoyed riding around in his truck with his family.
Tom is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 50 years, Elizabeth Rose Osborne; one son, Thomas A.J. Osborne and wife Tracy; one daughter, Kimberly Osborne and partner Donovan Piper; three grandchildren, Tyler Thomas Payne, Alexis Rose Payne and Madison Kay Lowther; one brother, Terry “Oz” Osborne; and four sisters, Elouise, Helen, Kathy and Junie.
In addition to his parents, Tom is proceeded in death by his brother, Charles Osborne Sr.
Due to ongoing pandemic restrictions, a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation services are being arranged by Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home of Morgantown.
