MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — The Kansas State women’s basketball program paused all team activities Wednesday, following the school’s most recent COVID-19 test results and contact tracing procedures.
That move forced the West Virginia-Kansas State game scheduled for Jan. 5 in Manhattan, Kan. to be postponed.
According to WVU, The Big 12 will work with both teams to reschedule the game for later in the season. The conference built the regular-season schedules this season with a 10-day window between the end of the regular season and the start of the Big 12 tournament, which could be used to play the game.
WVU (6-2) is still scheduled to travel to Kansas on Saturday.
