Larry R. Lee, formerly of Follansbee, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, in Morgantown. He was born on Aug. 15, 1944, in Tiltonsville, Ohio, the son of the late Dr. Louis A. Lee and Mary Blanche Lee.
Larry was the owner of the Larry R. Lee Nationwide Insurance Agency in Wellsburg for 35 years. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War, a member of St. Anthony Church in Follansbee and St. Mary Church in Morgantown, a member of the Holy Name Society and former president of the Follansbee Lion’s Club. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a kind and gentle man who loved nothing more than spending time with his family.
Larry will be sadly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brother, Louis; sister, Linda; and by his father- and mother-in-law, Guy and Rose Fuscardo. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sandy (formerly Fuscardo) Lee; his son, Christopher Lee, wife Beth and children Avery and Noelle, of Solana Beach, Calif.; his son Craig Lee, wife Justine and children Caroline and Nick, of New York; and his daughter, Carrie Anne Lacy and children, Lauren and Isaac, of Morgantown. He is also survived by his brother, Lenny Lee and wife Dorothy, of Timonium, Md.; his sister, Lois Mitchell, of Worchester, Mass.; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Guy Fuscardo, Sally and Carmen Marino and Judy and Chuck Barbe; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony Church in Follansbee for immediate family only, with arrangements by James Funeral Home in Follansbee. A memorial celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Follansbee.
