Mary Beth Stemple, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Stonerise (formerly Mapleshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center). Mary Beth was born in Morgantown on Sept. 29, 1950, a daughter of the late John and Helen Stemple.
Mary Beth was a sorority mom at WVU and worked as a paralegal and later worked as a secretary for the WVU Dental Office. Mary Beth was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where she served as the church secretary.
Mary Beth is survived by her brother, Ed Stemple, of Latrobe, Pa.; brother-in-law, Michael Szkotnicki, of North Carolina; nephew, John Stemple and wife Karla; and great-niece, Autumn Stemple.
In addition to her parents, Mary Beth was preceded in death by her sister, Jewel Wood; and sister-in-law, Carol Stemple.
Private services were held at McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday with burial at Pisgah Cemetery.
