Charlie Joe Crabtree Sr. “Paw Paw,” of Morgantown, formerly of Logan, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, went to join the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 23. 2020. Charlie was born in Logan (a little town called Blair). He was the son of Frank Crabtree and Esta Crabtree.
Charlie is survived by a wife, Ann Deditch Crabtree; children, Charlie Joe Crabtree Jr. and wife Joan Crabtree, Melinda Pechinko, Robert McDonald and Tammy McDonald; grandchildren, Felecia Pechinko, Joey Barnett and Kendra Miller, Timothy Barnett, Tiffany McCulla, Steven Miller and Tiffany Miller.
Also surviving are his five great-grandchildren, Wil Crabtree, Brighton Marie Miller, Tim Barnett Jr., Clarista, Jaxson and Isaac Barnett and Joan and J.J. Norman and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and sisters, Mildred Danko and Myrtle Yedlosky.
The family will receive friends at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 until the time of service at noon. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, follow social distancing guidelines and limit their time to 15 minutes. Burial will follow at the Pisgah Cemetery.
