Richard “Rick” Charles Johnson, 45, formerly of Wheeling, died Dec. 16, 2020, after a brief illness in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born
April 28, 1975, in Wheeling, to the late Connie and Raymond Johnson. Rick was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Luke’s Parish, Cheat Lake, Morgantown. After graduating from Wheeling Central High
School, he attended West Virginia University.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Patrick Johnson.
Rick is survived by his three children, twin girls Lucy and Rain and son Chance Johnson; five aunts, Edna Lou Schaub, Paula Garrett, Betty Johnson, Sharon Southworth and Kathleen O’Konski; two uncles, Louis Southworth and Douglas O’Konski and several cousins.
Graveside services will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at Mount Calvary
