Amy Catherine Goodwin, 50, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, from Tygart Center in Fairmont with a very caring staff member holding her hand as she took her last breath. She was born Jan. 4, 1970, in Morgantown. She lived most of her life at the Brookhaven REM home with the companionship of many friends.
She is survived by her mother, Cathy Shaffer, of Masontown, W.Va.; brother, Ralph Shaffer, of Forrest City, N.C.; sister Donna Wiles, of Reedsville; Aunt Jeanie and Uncle John Trovato, of Morgantown; nieces, Tiffany Barns and Lincoln Wiles; and nephew, Lucas Wiles.
Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville from 1 p.m. Monday Dec. 21 until 3 p.m., the time of the funeral services, with Pastor Casper Dalton officiating.
Private burial will be in East Oak Grove Cemetery.
