Beryl Marie Shahan, 92, of Reedsville, died on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at Pine Ridge/Stonerise Kingwood.
Beryl was born May 29, 1928, in Tucker County, a daughter of the late Arlie Wilson and Henrietta (Hershman) Myers.
She was a Charter Member of Mill Chapel United Brethren in Christ Church, and in years past she taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. Beryl enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and having Sunday dinners for her family.
She is survived by two daughters and spouses, Sharon Marie and Kenneth Wills, of Baxter (Marion County), Patricia Ann and Donald McGinnis, of Kingwood; two sons and spouses, Allen Ray and Marie Shahan Jr., of Reedsville, and David Paul and Lynn, of Kingwood; five brothers and spouses, Kenneth Myers, of Wooster, Ohio, Paul and Ruby Myers, of Beach City, Ohio, Karl Myers, of St. George, Junior and Thelma “Dee” Myers, of Masontown, W.Va.; two sisters and spouse, Beulah Shahan, of Morgantown, Beatrice and Herman Long, of Hagerstown, Md.; seven grandchildren, Christina Carpenter, Tammy Wills, Arica Ward, Aimee Shahan, Loralie Hackney, Austin Shahan and Ashli Shahan; three step-grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Wills, Amy Root and Kelli Beavers; two great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Allen Ray Shahan; one son, Earl Junior Shahan; one granddaughter, Angela Shahan; and one brother, Alton Gay Myers.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price St. from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17 and from 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, until the time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at noon with Pastor Marshall Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown. Social distancing and masks are required.
