Kathy Lynn (Gregg) Billotti, 67, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at her residence.
She was born in Morgantown on Sept. 28, 1953, the daughter of the late Samuel Harry and Alma (Maxon) Gregg.
Although born in Morgantown, she spent most of her young years living in Cumberland, Md. She then moved back to Morgantown and attended Suncrest Middle School and Morgantown High School, class of 1971.
Kathy went on to graduate from nursing school and worked several years before stopping to raise her family. She also worked at Davis and Lynch Glass Factory. She also worked as a real estate agent. Most of her career entailed her service as a nurse, which totaled 30+ years, most recently at The Suites at Heritage Pointe.
Kathy did whatever she could to support her family and friends, as well. She was, without a doubt, an amazing woman who was well loved. She was known to always open her home and kitchen to anyone. It is well worth noting, she was named Mother of the Year and received the award 42 years in a row.
She is survived by her children: Matthew Billotti and wife Laci, Mark Billotti and wife Ariel and Sarah Billotti; grandchildren: child of Matthew and Laci, Demi Billotti, and children of Mark and Ariel, Charlie and Lilly Billotti; brother, Gary Gregg; and sister, Sandra Newhouse and husband Mark.
In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by sister-in-law, Melissa Gregg.
Family and friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summer School Road from 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
Although guests are invited to come visit, it is required, per the Governor and CDC pandemic guidelines, that all visitors wear face masks and practice social distancing.
