Kenny Ray Savage, 71, of Morgantown passed away at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020. He was born in Morgantown on Nov. 6, 1949, to the late Raymond Savage and Rose Cost Savage.
Kenny was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a sergeant for two years in Korea during Vietnam. He worked as a coal miner and was a jack of all trades. Kenny really enjoyed going to flea markets, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Hamrick Savage; daughter, Kimberly McCauley (Larry), of Morgantown; son, Samuel Savage (Dietra), of Morgantown; grandchildren, Tyler, Darren, Larry III and Hunter Ray; sisters, Joann Balasko and Norma Barnett; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Dale Savage and Raymond Savage Jr.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3 until the 1 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Allen Donham officiating.
Following the service, interment will take place at East Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors conferred by Westover VFW #9916 and WVANG Military Honors, Camp Dawson. CDC guidelines will be followed and masks required.
