Small Business Saturday takes on more importance this year

Supporting local business is more important now than ever. Luckily, shopping locally is being made even easier and more fun than usual this year, as Main Street Morgantown and Visit Mountaineer Country CVB’s socially distanced Small Business Saturday weekend continues today.
This year, vendors and local artisans will be set up around the downtown district, in addition to retail shops and restaurants.
The shops and restaurants will be open from noon-4 p.m. today.
Precautions being taken:
- Businesses will continue to follow CDC guidelines and require face coverings upon entry.
- Vendors will be placed outside around the district with plenty of space between them.
- Outside food vendors are required to have proper health department licensing, goods packaged and follow CDC guidelines.
During registration, vendors agree to follow CDC guidelines and wear face coverings at all times during the event.
