Charles Edward May, 69, of Kingwood, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at Stonerise Kingwood, formerly Pine Ridge Skilled Nursing Center in Kingwood.
He was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Kingwood, a son of the late William Franklin and Pauline Viola Shrout May.
Charles was a loving brother and uncle. He worked for B.J. Discount Store, Western Auto and Allegheny Wood Products. He was a Pentecostal by faith.
He is survived by his brother, Gary May Sr. and fiancée Carol Parks, of Kingwood; his sisters, Martha Sypolt, of Kingwood, and Nancy May, of Youngstown, Ohio; two nephews, Gary May Jr. and Paul Nice; and a niece, Casey Fulk.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Earl, Gerald, James, Ronald, Harold and Donald May; his sister, Betty Fizer; and a sister-in-law, Susie May.
Friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the funeral hour, Monday, Nov. 30 with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
During the visitation and funeral service, social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
