Virginia “Ginger” Bracken Stiles, of Star City, passed peacefully at home Nov. 7. Born March 29, 1941, in Morgantown, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Scott Bracken and Eva Pauline Bracken Jackson.
Ginger worked as a Nurse’s Aide for over 30 years at Sundale, Morgan Manor and Mon Pointe. She was known by friends and family for her big heart, a willingness to help anyone and her love for everyone.
Ginger leaves behind a brother, David (Jane) Bracken, and three sisters Jean Johns, Margaret Headlee and Margaret Ruth Batton. In addition, she is survived by five loving children, Robin (Cecil) Harris, Rony (Darren) Coker, Roger (Teresa) Bracken, Tish (Harley) Winters and Sonya Stiles. She will be greatly missed by her 12 grandchildren, Travis, Amy, Tristan, Lena, Cassie, Betty, Curtis, George, Zachary, Amanda, Emily and Hannah, as well as her 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will be holding a celebration of life on Nov. 14 from 1-5 p.m. at the Chestnut Ridge Park dining hall. We invite you to stop by and share favorite memories and offer condolences.
