Jean Delores Ammons, 94, of Fairview, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. Jean was born in Fairview on Feb. 15, 1926, daughter of the late Enos and Sarah Tennant Wilson.
Jean was a member of Haughts Chapel United Methodist Church. She retired from Owens Ill. and was a homemaker for her family.
Jean is survived by four children, Linda Kendall and husband Robert, of Morgantown, Lynne Williams, of Morgantown, Kim Ammons and wife Monette, of Fairview, and Kevin Ammons and wife Marla, of Fairview; six grandchildren, Alissa Kendall Russell and husband Philip, Andrew Wiliams, Bethany Williams Cage and husband Aaron II, Ashley Ammons Sabatelli, Erin Ammons Henkins and husband Chad and Jason Ammons and wife Brandi; step-grandchild Tyler Menas and wife Mariah; 16 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Adam and Ethan Russell, Jenna, Alaina and Gabriella Jean Cage, Santino, Lucia, Ella and Marco Sabatelli, Dylan and Chase Henkins and Josalyn, Brynlee, Braylee and Jessa Ammons; and three step-great-grandchildren Scarlet, Kaiser and Rosalie Jean Menas.
In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Irno Ammons; three brothers, Chester, Marvin and Denzil Wilson; five sisters, Mary Brock, Pearl Rogers, Ary White, Tencil Hammack and Nola Parrish; and a son-in-law, Randall Williams.
