The driver of a waste management truck lost control of his vehicle and crashed Thursday morning while traveling south on Grafton Road, Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer said.
Palmer said the driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital by Health Net medical helicopter.
The man’s condition was not available Thursday afternoon. On scene, he was conscious and alert, Palmer said.
The crash was reported at 10:23 a.m. Clinton District Volunteer Fire Department and Mon EMS also responded.
