Loraine M. Christopher, 91, of Newton Falls, Ohio, passed away at Trumbull Regional Medical Center Emergency Room, on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. She was born on Jan. 12, 1929, in Masontown, the daughter of Charles and Effie (DeBerry) Sisler.
Loraine was a member of the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Garrettsville.
On March 3, 1953, Loraine and Kenneth were united in marriage in Oakland, Md. Loraine’s husband Kenneth became ill early in their marriage and Loraine provided him with excellent care for nearly 35 years.
Loraine loved cooking for her family. No one ever left the home hungry.
Cherished memories of Loraine will be carried on by her children, Raylene (Robert) DeLeon, of Morgantown, Kenneth “Butch” (Diane) Christopher Jr., of Kingwood, Dorene (Victor) Sutton, of Champion, Ohio, Mickey (Helene) Christopher, of Garrettsville, Ohio, and Mark Christopher, of Newton Falls, Ohio, 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was the beloved Aunt Poochie to dozens of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Loraine in death are her husband, two sisters and three brothers.
Family and friends may call at the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Garrettsville, Ohio, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 where services will be held at 4 p.m.
Calling hours will also be held at the Mount Zion Church in Masontown from 1-3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.
