No one was injured in a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Monongahela Boulevard/Beechurst Avenue/8th Street on Monday afternoon.
The Morgantown Police Department was dispatched to the crash at 12:58 p.m., according to Morgantown Communications Director Andrew Stacy.
Stacy said no one was hurt in the crash.
The driver and passenger of a red Toyota Rav 4 were taken to the hospital, said Trooper C. Smith with the West Virginia State Police.
Smith was the first officer on scene and said the two were elderly and shaken up and were taken as a precautionary measure.
The MPD did not issue any citations, Stacy said.
Traffic was detoured to 8th Street for about an hour.
