Devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Andrea Linn Campione, 60, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020. Andrea was born on April 21, 1960 in Wheeling to William and Carol Ramser.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelma and Carl Andreas and Mabel and Russel Ramser; her aunt, Dorthy Andreas; and uncle, Lynn Andreas.
Andrea is survived by her loving husband, Bob Campione; her children, Ryan Campione, Krista Rogers (Shawn), B.J. Campione (Diana), and Angela Erickson (Scott); her parents, William and Carol Ramser; her brother, Evan Ramser (Wendy); her sister, Missy Riggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ever the gracious host, Andrea loved being with friends and enjoyed throwing parties where oven fired pizza and home baked goods were always abundant. As an incredible small business owner, she took great pride in the success she had and accomplishments she achieved. Her smile and laugh were contagious, and her selfless and gentle nature always looked for the good in others and encouraged them to see it in themselves.
There are no people on earth that she would rather be with than her family, including her dog, and personal shadow, Louie. They were her pride and joy and she cherished spending time with them at home and on family trips and vacations. She was their biggest supporter, and they were her greatest treasure – and she, theirs.
Andrea was an incredibly beautiful, caring, selfless, and courageous woman who was taken from this world much too soon. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her as a part of their lives.
A private graveside service will be held at Halcyon Memorial Gardens in Wheeling and a celebration of life will be held once conditions allow.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the American Brain Tumor Association (www.abta.org).
Hastings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
