Connie Lee (Herd) Nagy, 77, departed this life on Sept. 29, 2020, at Mon Health Medical Center after a brief illness.
A native of Morgantown, Connie was a 26-year volunteer and a lifetime auxiliary member at Mon Health Medical Center, where she loved spending time with “her ladies.”
She was a champion of helping the less fortunate, never drawing attention to it or wanting any recognition or reward. She was the rock of her family, dearly loved and will be greatly missed by us all.
Connie is survived by her husband of 26 years, Charles Nagy, of Morgantown; daughters, Laura Hager, of Morgantown, and Brenda Herd, of Fairmont; stepson, Chris Nagy, of North Carolina; grandson, Dane Hager, of Pittsburgh; and her “adopted grandchildren,” Wis, Ren, Mattie, Sarah, Saloma, Tena, Andy, Emmanuel, Susie, Johnny, Ida, Danny and Eli.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald A. Herd, and one daughter, Sherry Lee.
Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services and a private burial service will be at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
