Carole Ann Rexroad, 76, of Bruceton Mills, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at her home.
The daughter of the late Darwin Hugh and Thelma Schnopp Loraw, she was born March 7, 1944, in Bruceton Mills.
Carole was the office manager for Rexroad Auction Service, was an EMT for the Bruceton Community Ambulance Service, worked at the Lumber and Hardware Store, owned Cob Web Corner General Store and she loved crafts.
She is survived by her husband, James T. Rexroad; two sons, Bob Rexroad and Todd Rexroad; two daughters, Sarah Rexroad and Kathy Jo Bartlett; grandchildren, Stephenie Miller, Sandra Fabiano, Corey Rexroad, Kristen Rexroad, Abigail Rexroad, Jacob Rexroad and Clint Bartlett; and great-grandchildren, Malcolm Caldwell, Maxon Walcott, Shaelee Nelson and Anthony Fabiano.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Katherine Graham, and a brother, Melvin Dwight Loraw.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, until the 11 a.m. service in the funeral home with the Rev. Vicki D. Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in the Fike Family Cemetery on the Rexroad Farm in Bruceton Mills.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Bruceton Community Ambulance Service, PO Box 84, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525.
Due to the COVID-19 virus and for the safety of everyone attending the visitation at the funeral home, visitors are requested to wear a face covering, practice social and avoid lingering after paying respects to the Rexroad family.
