Anne Mary (Chliek) Mansberger, 94, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born Aug. 10, 1926, in Great Neck, Long Island, N.Y., to the late Joseph and Sophie (Wychlhoyitz) Chliek. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Joseph Mansberger, and siblings, Mary (Chliek) Chingwa, Franklin Chliek, Anthony “Stony” Chliek and John Chliek.
She loved to knit sweaters and hats, work on puzzles, play computer games, bake pepperoni rolls, sew, make quilts and collect angels. She was a very giving person and enjoyed being with her family, especially during the holidays. She was an LPN specializing in home care and took pharmaceutical classes so she could administer medications.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Mansberger) Chessi and spouse Sib Chessi, of Vallejo, Calif., Linda Mansberger, of Nicasio, Calif., Robert Mansberger, of Morgantown, Randy Mansberger and spouse Carolyn (Martin) Mansberger, of Morgantown, and Roger Mansberger, of Morgantown; five grandchildren, Kim (Matheny) Govi, and spouse Mike Govi, of Faifrield, Calif., James Matheny, of Morgantown, Steve Mansberger, of Boise, Idaho, Stephanie (Mansberger) Wolters and spouse Brandon Wolters, of Fort Myers, Fla., and Robin Mansberger, of Morgantown; and great-grandson, Christopher Repetto, of Fairfield, Calif.
