Scooby Doo, a 4-year-old Chihuahua, has been missing since Aug. 14 and his owner is asking for help finding him.
“If they have him please give him back,” Missy Hart said. “He needs me as much as I need him.”
Scooby went missing after a vehicle crash on Grant Avenue near 8th Street, Hart said. The accident left her with 16 broken bones.
Scooby Doo is friendly and loving and should come to anyone with encouragement, Hart said. She said she didn’t know why an online flier circulating on social media said not to attempt to approach him.
“He’s just really friendly and he’ll come,” she said.
He is not chipped and the Monongalia County Canine Adoption Center has not found him, Hart said.
