Charles Edward “Ace” Turner, 74, of Denver, previously of Morgantown, passed away on Aug. 15 in Denver.
He was born on Nov. 11, 1945, in Everett (Tyler County), son of the late Susan Turner.
Ace joined the United States Marine Corps as a young man. After his service he became a long-haul truck driver. He loved traveling the country and stopping to eat new places and meet new people, especially when his daughter, Sami Jo, was with him.
He was always a jokester and never knew a stranger. Ace also enjoyed fishing, cars, and women. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ace is survived by three daughters, Samantha Turner, Rhonda Sloane and Janelle Jenkins; son, Tyler Turner; and grandchildren, Isiah Ward and Aminah Jenkins.
Ace is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Turner.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no services will be held at this time.
