UPDATE: Richard Coleman, 41, has been identified as the man killed in Wednesday’s crash.
He was the driver of the motorcycle involved, according to Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer.
His passenger, Carrie Coleman, 43, is still in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, according to Palmer.
The passenger of the Jeep, Clarissa Hostutler, 20, is also in the hospital.
MORGANTOWN — The driver of the motorcycle involved in a wreck Wednesday on Hartman Run Road died at J.W. Ruby Memorial hospital of injuries sustained in the crash, according to Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer.
The passenger of the Jeep Patriot and the passenger of the motorcycle are in critical condition.
The driver of the Jeep, Timothy Lee Black, 30, of Jefferson, Pa., was treated for minor injuries.
Black was traveling north on Hartman Run Road, when he crossed the center line striking the guardrail and causing the collision, with the motorcycle which was traveling south, Palmer said.
Black was also arrested for a probation violation in Pennsylvania.
The collision was reported at 5:16 p.m. on Wednesday, according to MECCA 911.
The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
