Dentist offices provide free dental care for kids

Plenty of children throughout the area came away with brighter smiles Wednesday, when Wilson Martino Dental, TLC Dental and The Smile Defenders hosted Free Kids Dental Day.
As part of the event, the dental teams offered free dental care for those 12 and younger. This includes routine hygiene exams and cleaning, X-rays, fluoride and any dental work that could be done that day such as fillings, stainless steel crowns and resins.
Wilson Martino offices in Morgantown, Fairmont, Bridgeport, Buckhannon and Elkins participated, along with Smile Defenders of Clarksburg, and TLC Dental and Smile Defenders of Morgantown.
Kids had the chance to meet one of the original Smile Defender characters during their visits. And this event helped families explore the various programs offered by the state and obtain coverage for their children.
