WOW! Factory hosts summer camps for kids

Newsroom@DominionPost.com

The WOW! Factory, at 3453 University Avenue, offers weekly art camps  for children ages 6-12.  Set for Monday through Friday, the camps consist of a  morning session  from 9 a.m.-noon and an afternoon session from 1-4 p.m. Each week’s activities center around popular themes and use a variety of mediums.

Due to COVID-19, the number of attendees at each session is limited  to accommodate for social distancing. Staff has also  enhanced cleaning practices, and all attendees are required to wear  masks at all times.

Because the start of school has been delayed, three additional weeks of camps have been added.

Camp schedule

  •  Week of July 27 — Dinosaurs and Unicorns
  • Week of Aug. 3 — Happiest place on Earth
  • Week of Aug. 10 — Clay Mania (All clay creations)
  • Week of Aug. 17 — Me and My Room
  • Week of Aug. 24 — Under the Sea

The cost is $135 for the week, which includes all project materials, instruction and snack. Registration is required and can be done online, or by calling the studio or stopping in to reserve a spot.

Info: 304-599-2969.
