MORGANTOWN — The man killed in Monday’s fatal motorcycle crash on Grafton Road has been identified as John Tubliono, 64, of Morgantown.
That’s according to Morgantown Communications Director Andrew Stacy.
He did not identify the driver of the BMW that was also involved in the collision. However, he did issue a correction to the city’s Monday press release on the crash involving the BMW driver.
The driver was taken to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital after complaining of chest pain, Stacy said. Previously the city said the driver was not taken to the hospital.
Stacy said his condition was unknown on Wednesday.
Tubliono was declared dead at the scene after failed medical intervention.
The crash is still under investigation and “at fault and any citations, if there are any, will happen at a later date.”
