Carmela Wagner, 91, of Kingwood, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
Carmela was born April 5, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Valardia) Papaleo.
She worked as a seamstress, making baby clothes in New York, then as a custodian for Grady Management. Carmela enjoyed sewing and cooking.
She is survived by four daughters and spouse, Stephanie Denis of Tempe, Ariz., Tara Wagner and partner James Beasley, of Kingwood, Tama M. and Melvin Miller, of Albright, and Pam Burch of California; one son, Frank Trimboli of New York; two brothers, Anthony Papaleo, of California, and Robert Papaleo of Florida; one sister, Delores Catenacci, of New York; six grandchildren and spouses, Derrick and Paula Denis, Jason and Jacque Denis, Austin Miller and partner Katie Martin, Brandon Jackson and partner Emily Sisler, Bryson Jackson and Brianna Jackson; godson, Billy Papaleo; seven great-grandchildren, Hayden Denis, Jace Denis, Nikki Denis, Tonya Hamilton, Christina Trimboli, Anthony Trimboli and one on the way, Nash Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Trimboli, then her second husband of 46 years, Thomas Edward Wagner, on April 1, 2016; two sisters and four brothers; and son-in-law, Bob Denis.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at the Albright Fire Department at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, by Derek Jackson. A meal will be provided following the Celebration. The family asks that social distancing be followed, and masks are requested. Cremation services were provided by Rotruck-Lobb Crematory in Kingwood.
