CLARKSBURG — The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center will host its second virtual concert during the pandemic. The 5th Gear will perform live at 8 p.m. Friday on the Robinson Grand stage. The show will air via the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center’s Facebook page.
The 5th Gear is a local classic rock band from Clarksburg that formed in 2013. Members are known for ’70s, ’80s and modern rock covers.
The group has performed at a variety of venues in Harrison and surrounding counties and has support from the motorcycle community, with a history of helping to fundraise for special events. Some past events where they’ve been featured are Aidan’s Ride through the Country Side, Ride for Life and the BMR. The band has been featured in Cycle Source and Thunder Roads magazines.
Band members are Emily Estanich (lead vocals), Zack Lawson (lead guitar), and the three brothers of the band — Dylan Satterfield (rhythm/lead guitar), Riki Satterfield (bass guitar) and Franky Satterfield (drums).
Estanich’s influences include Janice Joplin, Joan Jett and Pat Benatar. Lawson, Dylan, Riki and Franky are influenced by Metallica, Rush, Kiss and Black Sabbath
Patrons will be able to show support through viewership of the concert and donations will be accepted. All donations will help the Robinson Grand continue to sustain during this difficult time.
