John “Red” Marsh, 63, of Morgantown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 23, 2020. John was born in Morgantown on Jan. 10, 1957, the son of Ruth Marie Davis Marsh of Morgantown and the late Ray Marsh.
John worked as a maintenance and building manager for Terrace Heights Apartments. He also worked for Murray Trucking Company, as well as Vic’s Towing. He loved doing things with his hands and working outside.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by three brothers, Arlis Marsh and wife Linda, of Clarksburg, Howard Marsh and wife Gail, of Lost Creek, and Gary Marsh and wife Janet, of Independence; sister-in-law, Lona McDaniel, of Flemington; as well as a good friend, Bobby Davis, of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; two grandchildren, Ava Stevens and Joey Stevens; and all of the Stevens Family.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Marsh, and one sister, Carla Marsh Braddock.
The family with receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Friday, June 26 until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. John will be laid to rest at Davis Cemetery. Vistors will be asked to practice social distancing, wear masks and avoid contact with members of the family.
