David Keith Colebank, 67, of Marquess, died on Monday, June 15, 2020, at his home.
David was born July 24, 1952, in Marquess, a son of the late Robert Lee and Hazel Ruth (Cline) Colebank.
He was a graduate of Fellowsville High School and he graduated from Fairmont State University with a degree in business. After his retirement from General Labor Local 379 in Morgantown, he then worked for the Department of Highways for 10 years. David enjoyed farming and buying and selling equipment after working on it.
He is survived by three brothers and spouses, Francis “Frank” and Vera Colebank, of Sinclair (Preston County), Roger and Wilma Colebank, of York, Pa., Kevin and Loretta Colebank, of Marquess; one sister and spouse, Bonny and Shelby Jones, of Blountsville, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Shirley Colebank, of Orlando, Fla.; and best friends, Joe Cline, of Laurel Mountain (Preston County), and Ettie Hershman, of Stevenburg (Preston County).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Wolfe, and one brother, Robert L. Colebank Jr.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel 295 South Price St. from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 19 and from 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Harbor of Life Emmanuel Apostolic Church with Pastors Sam Cline and Joe Cline officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Marquess. The family requests that you practice social distancing and masks are optional.
