In support of Nancy Walker for Mon BOE

When we first moved to Morgantown, we were blessed and fortunate to locate in a neighborhood that had many folks that had strong and healthy family values and a zeal to make our community a better place to live.
One such family neighbor were the Walkers. Both are special people, but today we want to focus on Nancy and her special skills and demeanor.

She is fiercely independent, confident, dedicated and an accomplished individual. Like many other accomplished women, she raised a family and worked at a demanding career while still volunteering her time and talents to the community. We would be remiss not to say how genuine and straight forward she is.

Since 1996, Nancy has served on our Board of Education, and for that entire time we’ve always believed and were confident that we had excellent leadership. We knew that her core values were very similar to our own, and we trusted her to make the right choice for our children and our community. She has never come up short of our expectations, and that is not surprising, since she excels in her focus on doing what is right, fair and in the best interest of her community.

While we are no longer neighbors, we are steadfast in our belief that Nancy is the best choice for another term on our Board of Education.

In support of Sandy Holepit for magistrate

I have had the privilege of working as Sandy Holepit’s magistrate assistant for several years. As her magistrate assistant, I have witnessed firsthand her ability as a magistrate. Magistrate Holepit is well qualified for the position and has handled a diverse caseload, which includes criminal, civil, safety orders, emergency protective orders, as well as competency hearings.

Magistrate Holepit has adjudicated over 20,000 cases in her 12 years serving Monongalia County and is a hardworking magistrate that is kind, honest, efficient and well-respected.

Magistrate Holepit applies the law in a fair and equitable manner and has executed her duties of a magistrate with the utmost integrity. Magistrate Holepit is unbiased and adjudicates each case on its own merit.

Magistrate Holepit is creative and uses alternate sentencing whenever possible. Magistrate Holepit is compassionate and treats everyone in her courtroom with dignity and respect.

Magistrate Holepit is endorsed by the Monongalia and Preston County Fraternal Order of Police #87. Magistrate Holepit is a WVU graduate and has served as a Monongalia County teacher.

This inspired her to create the Monongalia County’s classrooms-to-courtrooms program. This program is designed to teach middle school children the reality of the court system, as well as to act as a deterrent to crime. It allows the students to see actual court hearings and has provided valuable teaching moments to the children of Monongalia County.

Sandy Holepit is a compassionate magistrate that strives to always be effective and impartial.

Cast your vote to reelect Sandy Holepit as Monongalia County magistrate, Division 4.

In support of Ron Lytle, Nancy Walker for BOE

Our county school system is striving to meet student needs and continue the vision of individual development, intellectual growth and responsible citizenship.

Nancy Walker (24 years) and Ron Lytle (8 years) have been working towards those goals as a leadership team on the Monongalia County Board of Education. We support this team and ask you to support them, too, with your vote.

In support of Nancy Walker for Mon BOE

The Board of Education needs people with experience and dedication, especially in these troubled times. Nancy Walker has both. She has been a board of education member for 24 years. That’s a lot of experience and a lot of dedication. Combine these two qualities with her common sense approach and you have an excellent candidate. I was Nancy’s teacher for years and then worked side by side with her in a medical office. I could count on her in both the good times and the not so good times. That’s important. She has demonstrated her impressive credentials in the past, and more importantly, Nancy Walker can be counted on to serve us all in the future.
