A Grafton man turned himself into the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department for murder early Saturday morning.
Nicholas C. Padron, 28, is charged with first-degree murder.
The victim’s name is Michael Blackburn, according to a criminal criminal complaint.
Taylor County Sheriff Terry Austin was contacted by Mon County just after 1 a.m. on Saturday and told of the situation, the complaint said.
After checking an address on West Charles Street, in Grafton, the “deceased and mutilated body” of Blackburn was found in the home, according to the complaint.
Christopher admitted he killed Blackburn around 9 a.m. on Friday, the complaint said.
He was arraigned by Magistrate Sandy Holepit and is being held without bail.
