Zachary Edward Lambert, 19, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, due to injuries from a vehicle accident. He was born Feb. 8, 2001, in Morgantown.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Christopher Shawn Lambert and Janet Lynn (Shoemaker) Lambert; one sister, Madison Leigh Lambert, all of Morgantown; paternal grandparents, Bob and Sandy Lambert of Red Creek; maternal grandparents, Denny and Diane Shoemaker, of Thomas (Tucker County); along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Zach graduated University High School in 2019. He most recently worked at Kroger but was about to start a new job in the career path he always dreamed of, being a mechanic. He planned on attending UNOH, a high-performance auto mechanics school in Ohio. He loved taking trips with his father and friends to car shows and car meets. He enjoyed driving and took great pride in working on vehicles. He was always very stylish in his choice of clothing. His happy place was at the Waffle House. He had a special place in his heart for his cat, Ricky Bobby. Zach loved spending time with his family and friends, he was well known and loved by so many; he will be greatly missed. He will be in the skies of Heaven teaching Angels how to drift.
