Russell Scott Paptick, 59, of Cheat Lake, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital from medical complications. He was born on Aug. 11, 1960, son of the late Russell and Patrick M. Paptick.
Scott was a retired coal miner. He loved playing softball and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. He enjoyed watching and listening to the WVU Mountaineers, NASCAR and other sports.
Scott loved to joke around and would help anyone he could. He was known to have a heart of gold.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory.
