Monongalia County Assessor’s Office now taking walk-ins

The Monongalia County Assessor’s Office now sees walk-ins. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

During this time, the office is restricted to having four taxpayers at a maximum inside.

“We ask that you be patient with us during this time as we are working to provide services to the taxpayers of Monongalia County,” a release reads. “Even though we are seeing walk-ins, we encourage you to call before coming down to the office to see if we can’t take care of your needs by phone.”
