Janice L. Eddy, 57, of Core, went home to be with her Lord on May 18, 2020, with her husband and son by her bedside at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Janice was born in Morgantown on Nov. 28, 1962, a daughter of Fred and Lenora Bussey, of Mt. Morris, Pa.
Janice was a devoted homemaker; who spent her life caring for the needs of her family. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping with her family at Five River Campground in Parsons and listening to Dave Adkins.
In addition to her parents, Janice leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Thomas L. “Tom” Eddy and son, Thomas L. “Tommy” Eddy Jr., both of Core; and sisters, Michelle Bussey and Marsha Layton. Also surviving include a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church c/o Marsha Layton 1592 Cassville-Mt. Morris Road Morgantown, WV 26501.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions put in place by the CDC and local health departments, there will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris, Pa. at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, where the public is permitted to gather, while maintaining proper social distancing, following CDC guidelines, and avoiding any physical touch with the family. McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
