Greer Industries Inc., West Virginia’s largest limestone producer, announced the promotions of John L. Bossio, executive Vice president of sales for Greer Lime, Limestone, and Asphalt; Marc A. Magro, vice president of sales, Greer Limestone and Asphalt; Debra Christopher, inside sales manager, Greer Lime Division; and Bryce Coen, Asphalt Division manager.
Bossio will oversee and direct all sales operations for the Greer Lime, Greer Limestone and Greer Asphalt companies. He joined Greer in 2006 as a sales representative for the limestone and asphalt divisions. In 2009, he transferred to the Greer Lime Co., where he most recently served as vice president of Sales.
Bossio earned a Bachelor of Science in public relations with a minor in business administration from West Virginia University in 2005. He lives in Morgantown with his wife, Kimberly, and sons, Mason and Parker.
Magro will have primary responsibility for the sales operations of Greer’s limestone mines and asphalt plants. He joined Greer in 2010 and formerly served as a sales representative in Greer’s construction aggregate and asphaltic concrete divisions. Most recently, he served as vice president of the Greer Asphalt Division.
Magro earned a Bachelor of Science in multi-Disciplinary studies with minors in business, communications, and exercise psychology from West Virginia University in 2007. In addition, he played on some of WVU’s most prominent football teams from 2003-07 and was a four-year letterman. He lives in Morgantown with his wife, Kayla, and daughters, Reese and Reagan.
Christopher will oversee contract management and administrative functions in the sales department. She joined Greer in 1986 in the Greer accounting department. For the past 30 years, she has worked at the corporate office as an administrative assistant to the Greer Lime Division.
Christopher lives in Bruceton Mills and has two daughters and three granddaughters.
Coen will oversee the operation of the Greer Clarksburg and Buckeye Asphalt Plants. He joined the company in 2010 and, since 2017, has worked in various capacities at the Greer Asphalt Division.
Coen earned a Bachelor of Science in natural resource economics from West Virginia University in 2014. He lives in
Morgantown.
